孫娘がせせらぎで見つけた、小さな黒い貝。

カワニナ。蛍の幼虫の餌。

カワニナがいるのは綺麗な川。

きっとこの川には、六月末ごろには蛍が群れ飛んでいたはず。

大切にしたい日本の水資源。

A tiny black shell that my granddaughter found in a creek, this morning.

It’s a KAWANINA, or a freshwater snail in English.

It’s a feed for a firefly larva.

The quality of the river water where KAWANINA can live is so good.

We may have seen a lots of fireflies flying over this river at the end of June.

Japanese water resources that we have to value.
